The robotic actuator matters more than it sounds. Human drivers modulate — they build pressure at different rates, and they do it differently on the tenth run than the first. A fixed 100 N applied by machine removes the driver as a variable, so the difference measured is the difference between the two brake systems and nothing else.
Endurance: 157,000 cycles across three thermal environments
Testing at KATECH (Korea Automotive Technology Institute) subjected the calipers to continuous operation at 6.9 MPa across three temperature bands.

The calipers completed all three phases with full functionality and structural integrity intact, passing every durability requirement.
The thermal spread is the interesting part. Seals that are compliant at 20 °C can go hard and leak at −30 °C, and materials that hold shape cold can relax at 120 °C. Running the same pressure across all three bands tests the assembly at both ends of its working envelope rather than in the comfortable middle.
